Farm Aid Set For Sept 7th

Farm Aid, a concert that raises money to keep families on their farms, will hold its annual show on Sept. 7 at Germain Amphitheater in Columbus, Ohio, organizers said Thursday.
Farm Aid's president and founder Willie Nelson says Ohio is a strong farming state, where much of the farmland is still owned and operated by family farmers, the backbone of Ohio's economy.
Farm Aid board member Dave Matthews said they're proud to bring Farm Aid 2003 to Ohio, because it's a state that truly understands the value family farmers bring to the community and to the country.
This year's lineup so far has Willie Nelson, Neil Young , John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews headlining the bill. Additional artists will be announced soon.
Farm Aid has donated more than $15 million to more than 100 farm organizations, churches and service agencies in 44 states, according to the organization's Web site. WASHINGTON(AP)
