Motley Crue Frontman Sued

Music producer Michael Shuman has filed a $1 million lawsuit against Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil, the result of an alleged fight at the frontman Rainbow Bar & Grill in Los Angeles.
Shuman filed the suit in Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday (Sept. 12) for battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligence. Also named as defendants are the Rainbow and its owner Mario Maglieri.
As reported at the time, a warrant was issued for Neil's arrest following the alleged incident. The suit states that on April 28, shortly after midnight, Shuman was "violently and brutally struck, without provocation, and by means of force" by Neil. Shuman claims he was hit in the face several times by Neil, which resulted in a fractured elbow and damage to his mouth and teeth.
A rep for Neil could not be reached at press time.
