During the past several years the Moorpark Symphony has presented the first eight symphonies of Beethoven. The orchestra will culminate this cycle with the playing of his Ninth Symphony on May 7th, exactly 180 years to the day after the premier of this monumental work.

Join The Aviation Museum of Santa Paula for our First Sunday Open House!

On display are antique, classic, and experimental aircraft. There is also a "Chain of Hangars" to tour. Each hangar offers a different story. Hangar #1 tells the story of Santa Paula Airport's early years. Historical photographs, artifacts and much more are also displayed in Hangar #1. Other hangars exhibit the hangar owners' personal collections, and each one is unique! They include antique, classic and experimental aircraft, automobiles, race cars, motorcycles, an enormous antique radio and phonograph collection, juke boxes, paintings, photos, model aircraft and a variety of aviation artifacts. Tours are docent-led or self-guided.

Kids between the ages of 8 & 17 can also go on free airplane rides through the Experimental Aircraft Association's Young Eagles program.

There is also a Museum Gift Tent featuring a great selection of souvenirs and gifts.

Three times a year, galleries, businesses and sidewalks come to life with art exhibits that highlight Ventura's unique visual and performing arts community. With over 80 participating sites and 150 or more artists at each event, the ArtWalk attracts up to 20,000 per event. Activities abound for children and adults, including art and architectural tours, children's murals, educational talks and an opportunity to meet local artists. Live music and performances at various locations in the Downtown Cultural District will have you dancing down the sidewalk while you’re looking at art.
