The American Academy of Self Defense will present a Kids Safe Seminar on Saturday November 18th form 1:00-3:00p.m.
The community is invited to the Free event, at the American Academy of Self Defense, 3345 Kimber Drive, Newbury Park
It will include information on how to protect you in a fire, flood, or earthquake, how to be internet- safe and how to be safe in the outside world. Healthcare workers, police, fire and safety professionals will discuss how to keep children safe and street smart. They will go over what to expect in an emergency and what steps to take to get out of danger. Street smart tips include helping kids memorize their addresses and phone numbers and teaching them to never talk to strangers or accept food or rides from strangers. Other topics will include gun safety and first aid. The event will include drinks, appetizers and giveaways.

Come and see Microsoft's newest operating system - Vista. The three-hour Channel Islands PC User Group general computer club meeting is held on Saturday,November 18, 2006, at 8:30 a.m. and the meeting is open to the public and is free.
