Spence began his career in non-public radio, playing beautiful music and operas. After completely going insane, he joined Thousand Oaks radio station KNJO and worked with some highly respected Ventura County radio people, as well as Los Angeles voices. After a brief hiatus from radio to become a Jack of all trades, he came back to work behind the scenes for a spanish language station and the old "Q105." He was then picked to host the morning show on the brand new Classic Rock station in Ventura County. "Garrett & Spence" lasted until "Garrett" went on to program the new "Q104-7." You can find Spence on 95.9 The Octopus on weekdays from 2:00 - 7:00 PM and each Saturday morning as he hosts the very popular Saturday Morning Live from 7:00 - 10:00 AM.
