New U2 DVD Due November 18th

U2ís tour-ending performances at Ireland's Slane Castle in September 2001 were filmed for the new DVD, U2 Go Home, due November 18th.
The homecoming concerts were played before two crowds of 80,000 and marked the band's return to the site where U2 recorded The Unforgettable Fire in 1984. The Slane 2001 performances also marked U2's twentieth anniversary of their first performance at the site as an opening act for Thin Lizzy.
In addition to the Slane shows -- which includes hits past and present, from "Sunday Bloody Sunday" to "Beautiful Day" -- the DVD will include a 1984 documentary about the making of The Unforgettable Fire, and a DVD ROM with screensavers and Web links.
In between frontman Bono campaigning international leaders to lend financial aid to Africa and illustrating a children's book of Peter and the Wolf, U2 have been at work on their tenth studio album, though no details are yet available.
