Pink Floyd's "Pompeii" Due Oct 20

Pink Floyd’s legendary Live At Pompeii concert film, along with footage of the band at work on their Dark Side Of The Moon album, is to be issued on DVD on October 20.
In addition to the 60-minute cinema version of the Live At Pompeii film, a 91-minute director's cut by original director Adrian Maben will also be included.
And the DVD will feature Dave Gilmour, Roger Waters, Rick Wright and Nick Mason at work in Abbey Road studios in early 1973 working on the Dark Side album.
The concert footage was filmed in October, 1971, before the release in November of the band's Meddle album, at the ancient Roman amphitheatre of Pompeii.
Live At Pompeii was originally made for European television and received its UK premiere at the 1972 Edinburgh Film Festival.
Among the tracks on the DVD are Echoes, Careful With That Axe Eugene, Us And Them, Brain Damage, Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun, Mademoiselle Nobs and A Saucerful Of Secrets. (annanova.com)
