Springsteen Leads Top Grossing Concert Acts "Pollstar" magazine's weekly chart of the top concert tours has only one significant change in the top 20 acts this week. The American Idols tour fell out of the number 17 spot down to number 21, and last week's 18-through-20 all moved up, making room for Steely Dan to join the fray at number 20. On top of the list was Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band. Springsteen is grossing an average $4 million per city on this tour. The Aerosmith and Kiss tour is in the number two spot, followed by Dave Matthews Band and Shania Twain. Ozzfest 2003 rounds out the top five. The Dead, Fleetwood Mac, Radiohead, Cher and the Justin Timberlake-Christina Aguilera tour hold spots six through ten. (metrosource) |
