Graham Nash Celebrates Birthday
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (AP) - Singer-songwriter Graham Nash celebrated his 60th birthday in the pink with friends and relatives.
More than 150 guests attended Saturday's offbeat party at the Madonna Inn, including Stephen Stills and David Crosby, who wore a pink bunny costume.
``I asked everyone to dress in pink and just act silly,'' said Nash's wife, Susan. ``It's not very often that we all get to see each other. It's usually at concerts or benefit fund-raisers, so it was really important that we just have fun, hang out and talk to each other.''
Bette Midler and a dozen other women presented a musical tribute to Nash with ``As Time Goes By.''
A three-month ``Tour of America'' by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young is set to begin Wednesday in Detroit.
